Hmm, do I still dislike Asha after all of these chapters giving insight about her past...? Hmmm.....
Yep, screw her.
Is the "other god" who chose Leez confirmed as god Kubera somewhere in the webtoon? (or only my speculating)
Nope, not confirmed which god it was. Some say maybe Kubera, others say maybe even Kali...
I really can't tell which. God Kubera does things that are both for and against Leez so it's hard to call him an ally and depending on whether Yuta and Kali are allies or enemies she could also be on Asha's side.
Thanks for the insight and all your amazing work.
Who are these "others"?
I would love it if it truly was Kali, but alas, it's less probable at this point in time.
And does Kubera(or Mr. Nameless) still count as a god?
Omg, the feels!
It's sad that in a few more episodes this season will be ending.
Thanks again babo Kim scans!
Thank you for the chapter!
Thank you guys, you're the best
I read the quick translation of this chapter already, but that ending still almost made me cry ;-;
Thank you for the chapter!!!
That's, quite literally, being determined as Hell °-°
What kind of flower did Visnu manage to find to pluck in all this snow ? "She does it, she does it not. She does it-- oh, she's done it ♥ !"
I WILL SHOW YOU THE ACTUAL PATH. A WHOLE NEW WORLD AWAITS YOU~~
How I went corrupting bloody little girls at the school's gates™. It turns my pwetty twisted future on !
-- Somewhere, some time : we're both short (and you're shorter than me, yay !), merciless and we go around barefoot. By all means, we were meant to be BFF !!--
Visnu's so like the sassy genie who will always give his best shot to gravely misunderstand you, on purpose, to better troll you later on... And that's how you were born to be the lucky one, and I made your life suck so much ! LOLOLOL !!
Yay, thank you so much for the translation ! This part of the story is so intense and addictive~~
So, Asha symphatizers? Anyone? :D
Thanks for the update
I'm still not gonna call Asha evil. She is just broken.
In fact, in this webtoon so far, I've yet to see a main antagonist, really. Not even Sagara is evil.
What makes this series one of the best written I've seen so far is exactly that, all the characters are based on reasons instead of hard-coded moral colors.
Sagara is one of my favorites. :D
Asha was broken. Have still found no reasons to like her character.
I love you guys for TLing this. I've said it before, and I will say it again, because I love this webtoon.
Now, knowing all the Asha reasons I think that she has a little bit of regrets about killing Rao and destroying Leez life. It is just a little bit, almost not existance, but still. The fact that Leez survived in escape capsule after Hoti Marut means, that Asha did conscious miscalculation. She has been couraged to kill Leez few times by Cloude, and she resolved to do it on transport ship, but It appeared that it wasn't 100% resolve (she is kneeling after that covering face with hands). Without miscalculations Leez wouldn't be able to survive this spell - her self regeneration was disabled, and bracelet regeneration wasn't working that time due to place where she was. Kubera helped Leez after the capsule dropped to the ground.
She even thought about second path which she hasn't chosen - the path to has family and normal life - with Leez as sister.
Of course she seeks revenge, but more than revenge she seeks power - the revenge is only the intermediate goal.
Still, I hate her, knowing the fact of second path she could choose.
About Visnu, oracle and 12 gambling people with him. If the translation is right Visnu cheated those people - they have never chance to win that gamble - Asha has been informed about other ways to have normal life after the fact she killed all of them. After this there were no return path and Visnu clearly knew about it. Asha didn't have any other paths after comitted murders.
I hope Leez deserves for some happines in third season. The life for her until the end of season 2 was like Visnu said - a living hell.
Gomawoooo guys! I love this webtoon!
Thanks for translating. Good job.
Asha's story is messed up. Like reeeaaaaally messed up. It was interesting to see Asha's coldness not being entirely the fault of circumstances and tragedy; she'd always been frosty. Visnu definitely didn't help matters though. x_x
Looking back though, with all this twisty imagery, like her mother's head and the nature of Asha's test, the thing that absolutely curls my stomach the most is when Visnu undoes her hair cut. Which is weird at base value because that sounds downright harmless compared a lot of the other stuff. But it was that moment where it seemed more than any other, that Asha's free will was violated. He undid her choice, and that's just... the levels of sliminess are scraping the comets with their filth.
Anyways. Thanks ;)
